I am super excited to start my first year coaching at Heat Volleyball Club for the 15u girls red team! While I haven't coached at HVC before I have been playing volleyball for 14 years! I've also previously coached high school summer volleyball camps, and girls 16u club volleyball.
I started playing volleyball when I was in 5th grade and played 3 years of varsity volleyball at Bay Port High School. I played one year at St. Norbert College on their collegiate team, and 3 years at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse on their club team. My sophomore year at UWL, we won second place at the Nation Championship for women's division 2 collegiate club volleyball and my senior year I had the pleasure of being a captain, a player, AND a coach for my team where we secured the State Championship for division 2 collegiate club volleyball!
I have a degree in Communication which I believe helps me to work well with players from diverse backgrounds to best fit their unique style. I have a competitive spirit and hope to push each of the girls to grow this season both as players and as teammates. I can't wait to start coaching and look forward to a rewarding and fun season!
